Went to the Irvine Spectrum meet that is held once an year. Have to say that this year's turn out was not that great. A lot of cars still showed up but last year's was better. Still a lot of cool people went, also a lot of people that looked like they're too fast, too furious, and too douchey. I still can't get used to it but I guess it comes with the territory.
At the end of the day, I was tired. Being out in the sun for the afternoon took its toll. Didn't want to wait an hour for the rotating sushi place. So we went to Tokyo Table, which was very nice. I won the argument that I actually know the waitress (because I remember faces).
The best part of the meet was seeing your own product on someone else's car. When things get shipped out to all over the US, Canada, and UAE, it's nice to know people are willing to pay for your work. But sometimes it's not about sales, pride or even sense of accomplishment, but the fact that someone out there enjoys something you've created.
